This handmade porcelain vase features a detailed black-and-white design. It's a decorative yet practical piece that brings beauty to your everyday. The design is hand-decorated using the sgraffito method.  
 
Each piece in my portfolio is designed to be used, not just admired. Handmade and hand-decorated, often with a touch of old-world charm inspired by my great-grandfather's art nouveau posters and calendars from the early 1900s - or the flowers in my garden. I try to bring a bit of quiet beauty to pieces that fit naturally into a home and feel good in the hand. My hope is simple: that the pieces I make add small pleasures to your day.

Art nouveau design of a mum and decorative band uses black underglaze and is carved by hand using the sgraffito method.
Porcelain body with matte white glaze fired to cone 10 oxidation.
