This handmade porcelain vase has a detailed rose design in blue. It's a decorative yet practical piece that brings beauty to your everyday. The design is hand-decorated using the sgraffito method.  
 
Each piece in my portfolio is designed to be used, not just admired. Handmade and hand-decorated, often with a touch of old-world charm inspired by my great-grandfather's art nouveau posters and calendars from the early 1900s - or the flowers in my garden. I try to bring a bit of quiet beauty to pieces that fit naturally into a home and feel good in the hand. My hope is simple: that the pieces I make add small pleasures to your day.

Rose design uses medium blue underglaze and is carved by hand using the sgraffito method.
Porcelain body with matte white glaze fired to cone 10 oxidation.
