This porcelain bowl with the mum design is a handmade yet practical piece that brings beauty to your everyday. The design is hand painted and carved using the sgraffito method.  This particular item is discounted due to the slight warping of the rim, creating a slight oval shape. 
 
Each piece is designed to be used, not just admired. Handmade and hand-decorated, often with a touch of old-world charm inspired by my great-grandfather's art nouveau posters and calendars from the early 1900s - or the flowers in my garden. I try to bring a bit of quiet beauty to pieces that fit naturally into a home and feel good in the hand. My hope is simple: that the pieces I make add small pleasures to your day.
